I was doing my morning 'check on Taking Shots' routine, where I go and check my sales, my reviews, my Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter, and Amazon, when I saw a new part of Amazon that they put up. Its called 'Popular Highlights', I was like..hmm..whats this? Underneath was a quote from my book and I giggled when I read it. Its one of my favorite lines from the book, and apparently, people love it too! Here it is:
Whoever said, 'Absence makes the heart grow founder’ was an idiot. Absence makes a bitch go crazy.
Just a little back story. Most of the things in the Taking Shots are inspired by something that has happened to me. This for instance, came to me when my husband started working a lot last summer. I hardly ever see him in the Summer because he is so busy with work. Between the kids, cleaning, working, and writing a book, I was going a little crazy and I just wanted my husband. So this little line holds special meaning to me, and I love that people love it too.
